Large capacity allotment silo
CAVAC Cooperative - Aizenay (Vendée)
The construction of large grain storage and processing complexes in a limited time requires precise studies, excellent collaboration between the various project stakeholders and great adaptability on site.
In order to develop numerous quality sectors, the Vendée cooperative needed to create a new, modern and substantial center for grain processing. It therefore approached the Cérès Solutions design office for the design and project management of such a project, with the objective of a one-year construction period between earthworks and receipt of grain.
Following a call for tenders from this independent design office, CERES AGRO-INDUSTRIE won the contract for the "mechanical equipment" lot.
All the experience of our design engineers was needed to carry out the installation of our equipment in a busy grain processing tower: rotary cleaner, flat cleaner, barley calibrator, deburring brush.
The numerous exchanges of load descent plans and piping layouts with the project manager and the masonry and metal structures companies also working on this site, allowed anticipation of the implementation phase to reduce it to record time.
The industrial organization of the CERES AGRO-INDUSTRIE group then enabled its workshops to manufacture all the mechanical equipment in a very short time.
Finally, the strength of CERES MONTAGE (CERES Services) , a CERES GROUPE company , enabled the deployment of the necessary personnel on the construction site to meet the deadlines set by CAVAC . Up to 15 installers, managed by 3 team leaders, worked simultaneously on the site over a total period of 6 months.
