To meet the growing demand for organic cereals in their region, BIOCROPS decided to invest in an organic silo equipped with the latest technology. BIOCROPS entrusted us with the process design, research, manufacturing, and installation of handling, filtration, and ventilation equipment.

This silo is made up of two 2 t/h reception lines, to address one of the issues of organic farming: the multitude of species to be received at harvest.

The silo's design allows each grain received from the field to be pre-cleaned before being stored during harvest. One of the cleaning lines is equipped with a rotary cleaner specially designed for more difficult-to-clean products and also allows for the pre-cleaning of products to be dried. The second line is equipped with a sieve cleaner specially developed for organic products.

These two lines allow the storage of semi-raw and clean product in 2 cone cells; each cell is taken up at 20 t/h to return to the working tower, in order to be cleaned or shipped.

A recirculating dryer can be used to process products that require it, such as corn.

This silo is also equipped with an optical sorting line. This technology allows for a finished product quality unattainable with conventional sorting machines.

All machines are connected to a Sogefa brand filtration unit, allowing optimal use of them, while respecting current dust emission standards.

4 Bushels of 100 tonnes each allow the preparation of batch shipments.
